I am looking for a book I remember as a child, but I can't remember the name, although I think it was something like "The Magic Word". It was about a child whose mother had just mixed up a cake batter and the child wanted to lick the bowl. The Mom says, sure, after you say the magic word. The child keeps guessing at magic words until he/she finally says "Please, Mom, can't I lick the bowl?" Mom says that "Please" was the magic word! Anyone know where I can find this. Not sure it was an LGB. Thanks.
