When I was small my favorite book was about a cat who drove progressively faster vehicles - tricycle, bicycle, motorcycle, automobile - crashing each in succession, until he wrecks a train. I think the book is from the late forties or fifties because of the artwork. As the train is speeding out of control the horn is wailing "choo-choo, all the way through to Kalamazoo". I think this might have been read aloud by Captain Kangaroo at some point but I'm a little fuzzy on that point.

Can anybody name that book?
