It is hard to give you a 'pat'answer for your questions. Most golden books are of little value when in used condition BUT there are so many exceptions I cannot list them here. Sometimes a H or C is a first edition as the cover might have changed to a different design on those editions. Sorry I cannot be more specific.
I have several first edition Golden Books but they were definitely well-read. They were my brother's books and they are a little worn...some were doodled in. I am assuming that even first editions are not worth very much if they are not in "mint" condition. Is that correct? Also, are other editions (ie. "D", "H") worth anything or are the first editions the only ones of value?
Thanks!
