I have been looking all over for a book that I used to read to my kids.
It was about a family of skunks. It was bed time and the son skunk could not sleep because his brothers and sisters were making too much noise.His brother was talking in his sleep "yum-yum, gum drops"). I think one of his brothers names was "Turnip".
I remember his mother doing laundry and his dad sitting in a chair. His mom let him sleep in the bath tub, but the dripping water kept him up, then he went to bed in the laundry basket.
