Looking for book about little donkey or burro who carries cut sugar cane stalks to the village cane press. Lovely color illustrations. Published in 1950s or 60s. At the end of the story he is dressed with flowers and gets to go to a fiesta and is very happy. Had this book as a child and would love to find it again. Can't recall title or author. So far no one online has been able to help me so any info. Is appreciated. Thanks!
