Hi,
I am a brand new collector, and wanting to determine the
age and approx. value of some of my books. Any information
at all, would be grately appreciated. I also need some
additional info on how to read what edition the book is?

I have a few older books.
Walt Disney's little man of Disneyland
Gunsmoke
What am I? A picture quiz book.
Where did the baby go?
Little Cottontail
The Big Brown Bear

The last two, appear to be quite old. As I am very green in
this area, would love some help

Thanking you
J Baird

In the older books the edition is a number inside the back cover near the bottom of the spine. a is first, B is second and so on.It is very difficult to give prices without seeing the books. any price given in guides is for a first edition in mint shape and we don't see many of those. Then the price declines.

Another thought, the oldest books are usually 42 pages long. they were shortened to 28 many years later.
