I was wondering if you could help me locate a book from my childhood. Problem is, I don't know the name. I don't even know if it's a little golden book. It's about a little puppy and he climbs up on a chair and tries to reach something and his mom tells him to get down...then they go to the playground and he gets lost and she finally finds him. That's about all I remember but I have been combing the internet searching for it. My dad used to read it to me as a child and since he passed away 4 years ago, it has become sort of a mission of mine to find it. Any help you could provide would be welcomed.

There is a Whitman book that has a title of : The Puppy Who Would Not Mind His Mother.

Just a long shot as I do not know this book????
