I'm looking for a book about a steam locomotive that is unwanted, is sold and travels to South America. It is painted in bright colors there, becomes very popular on the local railroad and works with plantations. I remember reading this book when I was a little boy but don't know the title or author. I want to get one for my nephew's little boy.

Having reviewed the plot of Tootle, I know the book I'm seeking isn't that one. Do you have any ideas?
