I am doing a literacy autobiography and recall a book that I loved at my grandmothers house in the early 70's ( I was born in 1970...so maybe 72 or 73) The book itself could have been older as I "inherited" many of the books my aunts and uncles read.
The book featured illustrations of a tall, slimmish grandmother, with white hair ( pulled back in a bun) who would do things with her granddaughter. The text may have been rhyming, and it may have been organized by seasons/month. I know there were outside frequently in the pictures.
The illustrations, I recall, were soft, watercolor type scenes. As so many of the books I cut my teeth on were LGB, I assume this one was as well.
As an almost Professor of Education, I would love to know or get my hands on a copy on this. It was a really formative book and was a link to my now deceased Grandmother.

Many thanks in advance
