You would think that anything from that era would be worth quite a bit but I know from experience. I've seen this
book as you described, once at a flea market for three dollars and once at an antique mall for thirty. Well that does't help much does it? But if this copy was indeed mint condition (and I mean mint) figure about $45. Hope this helps. S.B.

The first edition would have a blue spine and 42 pages. It would also be noted inside the cover on the title page what printing it is. If it has a foil gold spine and 28 pages it would show the edition inside the back cover near the spine with a letter. A first edition would definetly be noted in this book. The value isprobably closer to 10.00. Look at the FAQ to help identify the edition.
Is there some way I can post a photo?
Or send pictures to someone here who can give me an opinion?
Thanks Vicki

I would like to find out if this book has any value-
Little Golden Book
Mother Goose
Picture of Bo Peep and Little Boy Blue on cover with 2 sheep and a goose.
Number 4 on the cover near the spine
No writing in the book, except on title page pencil writing #123- 5.00
no tears or creases
Title page says
Selected by Phyllis Fraser
Illustrated by Miss Elliott
Copyright 1942
As far as I can tell it is an original first edition.
Any value to the book?
Any and all help is appreciated.
Thanks
Vicki
