My mother read Little Golden Books to me so much that I learned to read at 4. I remember some lines, but not the titles. One began "Old (Mr./Dr?) Goat put on his coat and went to pay some calls." Another was a mystery of missing polka dots. The only line I remember from that was "We knew he was a detective because he wore his detective hat." The third was a book of jokes and poems. It had a poem "A flea and a fly in a flue were trapped so what could they do?" I was born in 1949, so these were probably from the early 1950's. Can anyone help? Thanks
