The best way to determine value is to go to the local library and get a guidebook by Santi. Ead on how to grade the books and then the prices. Remember the listed prices are for A editions in mint shape and downgrade from there. Usually names do not detract much but other writing would. The uellowed pages does lower price slightly and if they have small tears or folds a lot. Good luck!
I have several Little Golden Books that are first printings. The pages are somewhat yellowed but the colors are vibrant and all the pages are in tact. There is an ownership name written in them. Does that detract from the value and how do I determine the value if I decided to sell them? Some of the titles I have are: The Three Bears, The Golden Egg Book,, Baby's First Christmas, Lassie and Her Day in the Sun, Leave It To Beaver, plus others. Any help would be appreciated.
