I wonder if one of you experts can help me here.
I have a nice copy of "We Help Mommy" 305-52. The copyright date is 1959,
but it has a bar code on the cover (no bar codes in 1959). I am assuming it's
a later publication, but I can't find and information regarding a reprint date, and
there's nothing listed in the book itself.

I'd greatly appreciate any information you can give me.

Copyrights in little golden books pertain to the story not the publishing of the book. A five digit number tells us it is newer. Steve gave you a good date in the prior answer.
