I am looking for two books my parents read to me as a child. The first is a giant golden book with a blue paper hardcover and multiple short stories and poems inside including one about a boy who needs a suit ad so he goes from sheep through spinning and weaving through all he steps to tailor until he produces that suit. I think it had a girl on cover reading the same book with a girl on the cover. THe second book I am looking for was a regular golden book with rainbow endpapers; I remember it was about a boy playing in puddles on a rainy day and the refrain 'hay foot straw foot"--there were also umbrellas in it and a yellow slicker? Both would have been publishd in the 1940's or 1950's.
