I have recently inherited a collection of Golden Books and am trying to determine if any of them are first editions. A number of books have printed on the copyright page "This is a brand-new book, written and illustrated especially for Golden Books". The books that contain this statement are all copyright in the 1970's. Could this statement mean that these books are first editions? Many thanks for any help.
