Hi,
I was lucky enough to happen upon this website for the first time today, so I am new to this forum, but I am hoping that someone can help me find my absolute favorite Little Golden Book from my childhood. I can't remember it's exact title, but I do remember quite a few details about the book. It had a green cover with a little boy on the front carrying a suitcase. In the story, the little boy was getting ready to go on a trip and he was packing up his suitcase. On each page, he talked about the ways he could travel... plane, train, bus etc. He also talked about all the things he would need to pack for his trip. I remember he would pack his pj's, toothbrush, a washcloth and some soap, camera, some cookies in case he wanted a snack and some money to buy a magazine along the way. I think he was traveling to see his grandparents. The last page of the book shows him with his suitcase, waving with the words, "Goodbye, goodbye, goodbye".... Does this book sound familiar to anyone? If I had to guess at a title, I want to say it was called "Packing Up My Suitcase", but I can't be sure. I may be way off on that. I have tried for years to find this and if anyone knows of this book or has any information to share, I would be very grateful! It would bring back some wonderful childhood memories! Thanks so much in advance for any help you can offer!

'Open Up My Suitcase' 1954 illustrated by Corinne Malvern is the book you seek.
