What a great website.

I am desparatly searching for a book that goes back about 30 odd years ago. It is about a black dog that is his "own" dog who meets a boy who is his "own" boy. It is all about the dog and boy coming togehter but remaining true to your self. From what I remember it had brilliant pictures in it and the cover was of a bklack fuzzy dog with a pipe in his hand. I thought it was called Mr Dog but my seraches are not returning anything.

If anyone knows of the book could they clarify the title and author?

Mister Dog is the title. You want to look for the book numbered 128 with 28 pages. The newer book is 24 pages.
