I only have 5 LGB books right now, and would like to know each books value:
1. Scuffy the Tugboat- 89 cents- 28th printing, 1981, barcode on back, one tiny scratch on front cover in lower right corner, basically in used, fairly-worn condition (corner wear, cover wear, spine wear), no writing or marks on any of the pages, no missing pages
2. The Saggy Baggy Elephant- 89 cents- 31st printing, 1981, barcode on back, same wear condition as Scuffy, no writing or marks on any pages, no missing pages
3. The Tawny Scrawny Lion- 89 cents- 14th printing, 1981, barcode on back, same wear condition as others, with no marks, writing, or missing pages, INTERESTING?- 89cent mark is in a small golden box in the top right corner with the five digit number all the way on the top left corner, the other have the five digit number and the 89 cent mark in the top right corner, minus the golden box!, also, besides "a Little Golden Book" logo, a gb in a box is also present
4. The Poky Little Puppy- 89 cents- 46th printing, 1981, same as first two
5. The Lively Little Rabbit- 89 cents- 27th printing, 1981, barcode on back, a little worse for wear, especially with an (approx.) 1 and 1/2 inch spot on front cover in lower right corner (torn spot with smal gray smudge), no writing or marks on any pages, no missing pages

Golden book values are hard to give without seeing the book. Most later printings do not have much value, except when they change the cover of the book or the title or the illustrator. Most prices given in guidebooks are for first editions with each later edition reducing the given price.......so by the 46th edition..the value is low. I have collected each title first and then worked on variations......improving to first editions and such.
