I'm not 100% sure that this is a Little Golden Book. It is a book that my mother read as a child and she believes that it is. It is about a platypus that lives with a family and is happy but there are some problems because it needs water. In the end the platypus gets to stay with the family because they buy an aquarium. My mom says the last page of the book is a picture of the platypus in an equarium. This is all that she can remember about this book. If anyone has any ideas about what this book might be titled, it would be greatly appreciated.
