I so much wanted to locate one of my mother's favorite childhood book. It was a "Little Golden Book" and it would have been in print in the 1950's. My doesn't remember the title or even much about it. She remembers the story was about an old woman who baked cookies in the shapes of stars and wrap them in gold foil and night hang in the sky. She most vividly remembers that the stars in book were made with shiny gold foil on the pages. My mother is now 63, and I would nothing more than find her favorite childhood book for her.
