I'm trying to locate a book I read to my brother repeatedly in the early 1970's. I don't remember the title, but it began, "This is a train, his name is Joe. Listen hear his whistle blow. This is the shiny silvery track that Joe must follow to town and back."

It is not a golden book. I looked through the guidebooks at train books and came up with a couple titles to check out. I searched on ebay( you can too by going to the "Home' page of this website and search in ebay for Train Coming Whitman). There were two examples of this book and the second one showed a few pages and says something about "" farmer says Joe is right on time". I am guessing this is the book. You can email the seller and ask what the first page reads???? Good luck!
