Neither of those two titles belong to a golden book to my knowledge. There is a title called 'Surprise for Sally.' It has a few stories in it and one is about Sally who has a birthday and she was five years old. Her mom promised if she would not cross the street she could go to town for her everyday.It ends with her getting a puppy...Does this sound familiar???
My favorite book from the early, early fifties was "Sally Goes to Town", or so I thought. It was not "Silly Sally Goes to Town". It was a Little Golden Book. Can you help me find that title?
