I don't know if you're still around, but I think the book you are looking for is called "The Magic Grinder." It is from the Disney's Wonderful World of Reading and is not a golden book, but it's a cute story. Has Minnie Mouse, the dragon, her nephews and a mean greedy Lord Gurr.

I think this was a LGB. I remember something about Mickey Mouse and living in an enchanted kingdom. There was a dragon and in one part there is an overflow of ice cream. This was from 30 years ago, so I barely remember, except that it was my favorite and I wore it out from reading it so much. Any ideas?
