The golden book 'My Home' begins If I were a deer, I would make my home in a forest that's shady and cool; It ends It doesn't matter at all if my home's on a hill, or down by the deep blue sea--- As long as it's filled with people I love, And people who also love me. The book features a boy and two girls but features the boy in many pictures solo. The book My Home was written by ReNee Bartkowski and illustrated by ROFry.It was published first in 1971.
I am trying to find a book from my childhood (born 1978)- I think it was called "My Home". Not sure if it is a Golden Book. It was about a little boy who looked at the homes of different animals and the end he ends up back at his home...I know this is probably a long shot but I thought I would give it a try. Any insight would be greatly appreciated...
