I am looking for a book from childhood. I do not remember the name, but I can almost bet it was a Golden Book. I remember it was about a kitten that was lost and the kitten was part of a litter. The pictures showed Christmas stockings on a stairway (I think) and I remember the kitten was on a train - I think a picture of the kitten on a caboose to be exact. Does anyone know if I am making all this up or did this book exist?

Thank you for trying to help me. I really don't believe this is the book. I remember the kitten as a long-haired grey kitten. I remember at one point the kitty and siblings had a ribbons because it was Christmas time. What I am afraid of is that I have intertwined my kitty stories
