Hi. Glad I found this website and I'm hoping for some help. I recently was given a bunch of "A Little Golden Book" books and I'm wondering where I can find out the value of these books. If a book says "Thirty-Eighth Printing, 1974" but then under it says Copyright 1948, 1937 by Walt Disney Productions...what does that mean? What specifics do collectors want to know about a book and where do I find that info. Thanks so much for you your help. Lucy Big Grin
P.S. Is there any way to post a picture?

Walt Disney copyrighted the story in 1937. Golden book publisher(Western) copyrighted the story in 1948 for their first publication. The book you have was published in 1974 and it is golden books 38th printing of the title. This book would have little value unless it was a cover change or different illustrations.

A guidebook is always helpful. You can purchase one or get one at the library.
