The little golden books still have the trademark golden spine. If it doesn't it could be a goldencraft binding which would be stated on the back cover.Since you know it is 69 cents I would presume it is not goldencraft and the binding is missing. No. 204 has a value of 8.00 so I do not think from your description it has a larger value.
I would like to know how long little golden books were published without the trademark golden spine. I have a Goldilocks and the Three Bears, $.69. A friend would like to purchase the book. I would like to donated the book to the AHA for their annual auction. The AHA will only accept the book if the base auction price is at least $50.00. please help.
