I have a book about a boy and his bravery with the help of a band-aid. In this book there are 2 bandaids attached to the inside front page. How can I tell if the band-aids are original?

The book I have is a reissue for the 50th anniversary. 1977. no stars or stripes. The two band-aids rest in a wagon and have individual J and J wrappers. I looked at the back of the page and can't see and glue marks. This being a newer book should I just let it go and allow my son to play with them?

thanks

The Dr. Dan book worth the big bucks is the original not the reissue for the 50th or the newer one. The story is so great it would be a shame if your son could not read the book. If you are a diehard collector, put it away.

Well... there goes my trip to the Caribean! I think it will be a great "read to me" story. Isn't that why they become favorites... because we read them? Thanks so much for your help. Smile
